That's precisely why they are performing more experiments. The theory predicted outcomes, and now the experiments are verifying those predictions.
It's already a theory, right? "Thoeory of relativity" It's beyond a hyopthesis because of past proof and experiment.You support a hypothesis with evidence and experiment until it becomes a theory.
