Just placed my order. After rebates my total will be $22.73.

FYI, the Wheel won't ship until the week of june 16th

rebates are due 7/14 and 7/31 for the game and wheel, respectively. If the items go on backorder and shipping is delayed, I'll cancel both.

Great deal though! Thanks!

Send a link to the picture when your done. Chances are high that one way or another you have supported NASCAR.

You're probably more interested in sports where the players do drugs, deal drugs, and/or go to jail for either.

Its a Great Game and Great Deal.

Nope.. I'm a CART and F1 guy. I'm much more into technology and the skill that it takes to race a car. NASCAR is just a bunch of good ole' boys running detuned, obsolete technology taxi cabs, bumper to bumper in a circle. I don't think that there is one guy in NASCAR that can climb into an open wheel car and be competitive.

Heh.. What also cracks me up is that they are trying to make the cars seem like street cars when they are totally different. How many 2 door, rear wheel drive, pushrod V8, carbureted Ford Taurasses do you see running around?

The other thing that bugs the crap out of me with NASCAR is the commercialism. Give me a freaking break. I see clips of the post race in the winners circle and they have the products on top of the cars. One guy had a Pepsi and some Gatorade sitting on the car. It reminds of me of the Super Bowl, which I hate because of the commercialism.

Anyway.. I said my peace. For those of you that like NASCAR, more power to you. I for one can't stand to even listen to those guys talk. They sound like they have a mouth full of Sh*t.

I can't believe they keep dropping the price on this combo. I bought it a week ago and paid $~97.

Anyway, it's a great deal for everyone now.

I hate to take away from the deal, but I feel a response is necessary.

F1 drivers obviously have skill, but not enough to drive a Nascar race car. F1 cars hardly ever race close to each other for more than a few seconds, let alone bump each other. In fact an F1 car would be out of a race for good if it hit another car at 180+ mph. You nevr see a photo finish in F1 the 2nd place car is way too far behind. There are more passes in one Nascar race than almost an entire F1 season.

Other points:
It take twice as many people in the pit in F1 to accomplish the same thing in Nascar yet yet there pit times are only 2 seconds shorter.
You have to qualify (there are rare exceptions) to race in a Nascar event. In F1 nobody is left out.
While you may not have the same drivetrain as a Nascar, you can own and drive a silimar style car. F1 No way.
Nascar drivers take their hand of the wheel to shift.
ALL MOTORSPORTS REPLY ON SPONSORS. Sponsors = Commerialism
Formula One claims big television numbers worldwide, but I've noticed at numerous races that the stands are not full. And F1 only has around 17 races a year. This does not compute.
NASCAR Winston Cup racing clearly wins when it comes to putting the most people in the seats. They have around 35 races per year.
F1 races in more countries.
F1 drivers are not as fan accessible.

Nascar is a truly American Sport.

Hey, I like them both. I like that they are different.

As for my two cents, I'd like to applaud the talent of Nascar's Ad wizards, who've managed to confuse you into thinking that hicks driving in a circle is somehow a great sport. In truth it lost all of its intrigue when the modern era began and true stock racing died. At least back then it was a challenge to engineer something unique. I still like watching competition pretty much anyway I can get it, but yes I do prefer the sports where atheletes on occasion deal and do drugs, thank you.

P.S. Golf seems more like tiddly winks than a sport to me, I'd rather watch curling.

Sorry to double up but,

I noticed that Masters of Orion 3 is already paying you $1.01 after the same rebate:
I realize it didn't get great reviews and isn't exactly the type of game your average Nascar racer would like, but it's a good deal in it's own right.

Cheers

Yes. There are an awful lot of stupid people. I hate what NASCAR has done to my Speedvision. Every time I turn the thing on now they have a bunch of hicks sitting around chawing it up. There's one guy with really foofoo hair that claims to have a wife and family, but he's gayer than a $3 bill. I don't know his name off hand. I think his family must be a cover. I highly doubt that the good ole' boys would accept a gay driver.

Great deal but looks like they have changed the price.

Nascar rules, F1/cart is allright but not nearly as entertaining.

And whats his name says any f1 driver can just jump in and win, Pull your head outta your arse man!!

Why do you think open wheel drivers switch to winston cup??

It appears FAR is over, the new deal:

NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
39.99 - 5.00 Instant - 20 Mail-In = $14.99 Shipped

NASCAR Racing and Microsoft Sidwinder Force Feedback Wheel
119.98 - 42.25 Instant - 20 Mail-In - 20 Mail-In = $37.73 Shipped

Still a good value, but it makes me wish I'd turned 1-Click on

I already did but they only gave me 1/2 the difference. But now that they dropped the price for the second time in 1 week, the difference is even greater. Oh well. Better than nothing.

They usually go to NASCAR as their skills diminish when they get older and they wind down their careers.
