If you don't know what it's like to watch a race, try it one time from the safety of your home PC chair with any of the NASCAR Racing series of games from Papyrus. N2k3 is the last to be developed, but has some of the best physics modeled into it. Start a race at Atlanta using the Jasper (yes it is a set-up used by the Jasper Motorsports team) and see if you can keep from spinning as you enter turn 1 at 190+MPH (that is if you don't spin sooner.) Some of my friends and I have had 2 great races at Talladega with this game in the past 2 weeks. If a Brit can appreciate it and have fun doing so, others who think it's so easy and a drag could learn lots from him.
Well put, a few laps of Nascar 2003 would convince anyone that its more than just
go fast / turn left.
WhiteKnight77, if you think a few friends is a blast, you should join us online on the Papyrus servers.
43 human opponents makes for some great racing!
And once you get good enough to run longer races with pitstops + you need to learn tire & fuel management + the importance of a good setup + good driving line + learning to "work together in the draft" + along with short track racing... you'll have a whole new respect for what Nascar drivers do 4 a living.
Now back to the subject.... I understand Jr was pushed down there, it just seems Nascar isnt as consistant as they should be on making those kinda calls.
Not to mention I was blowin off some steam cuz Im tired of watchin Jr win at the superspeedways. lol
Heck darn near all the Hendrick cars were ganging up on him and he still won..
A G A I N !
Id love to know how him and MW are getting so much more speed at the superspeedways.
I assume horsepower, cuz areodynamics doesnt seem to stop him...lol
