Nashville & Memphis sites to see?

I'm headed to Nashville & Memphis later this week on business...what should I try and squeeze in and see? dont have a ton of free time but if im going to be both places (and driving in between) what should i make sure to stop and see? national parks, meuseums, etc.

already planning to go see the Memphis Belle...what else?

Memphis Belle is about it...other than that avoid the whole area. Guess you could go to hillbilly heaven a.k.a. Graceland while you are there. Only if you want to see about a bunch of 50 and 60 year old women wearing gold lamay and crying over "the King" though.

In Memphis:
The Pink Palace Museum, has a history exhibit (some natural history and alot about Memphis), planetarium, and an IMAX.

Get some BBQ!!!!!!! Willinghams (dry ribs), or the Rendezvous (wet).

Try to catch a Redbirds game at the Autozone Park, supposed to be a great baseball park, I havent been there.
Looks like they're are out of town until the weekend ...

Jack's BBQ in Nashville.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, the best I have ever had. It is a half a block away from where the Preditors play and on the other side of the street

I live down the road from nashvegas. Visit the opryland hotel, quite impressive. Of course the new Country Music hall o' Fame just opened up. 2nd avenue downtown on the weekends is a pretty lively place. Plus if you goto 8th avenue south (or 5th avenue, its scary back that way) you can find the &quot;Worlds Largest Adult bookstore&quot;, although it doesn't look that big from the outside.

In Nasville, good places to see are the gardens inside of the Opryland Hotel, Andrew Jackson's mansion just east of the city, go catch a live show at the Wild Horse Saloon, the Parthenon in the park just west of downtown, the Nashville Zoo is really nice, and the Second Avenue entertainment district is nice. It's a nice, pretty, and friendly town, a superb place to live, but not as much to see as tourist attractions as say somewhere like San Francisco.
