i read somewhere that the nugs might agree to pay mourning's salary as part of the deal. however, this could be old news from an old (and dead) deal.

regardless, the Nets are taking a step back while teams like Detroit (McDyess, Delfino) and Indiana (Stephen Jackson) are working to improve their teams. the Nets might not even be as good as Miami or NY next season.

Miami has Shaq now...the Nets are even close to Miami anymore.

That would be kickass if Carmelo would agree to move into the SG position and have Nene play PF while Martin plays SF (or vice versa).

if martin isn't worth a max contract, then there is no way in hell jefferson is. don't get me wrong... i don't think kmart is worth max either... but what's all this talk i hear about next year, rj wants to max out? (or was that just a HUGE extension?)
