You would be correct in the sense that it does not effect a teams current ratings. However, A programs prestige is the most important factor in recruiting as it essentially determines the quality of recruits the team can realistically sign. 6 star programs get the majority of the 5 star recruits.

FSU, Miami, and Michigan would be eliminated if we decide to eliminate 5 and 6 star teams.

Well I'm using South Carolina as my dynasty team. They are a middle of the road average recruiting school. Obviously if I'm competing against another dynasty member, who is using Florida, there will be some disparity between my success with recruiting and his.

I believe the wins and positive dynasty building should come down to skill and gameplay and not so much someone being able to recruit all the best talent b/c they are: Socal, Florida, Bama etc.

Oh, and I suggest we send out dynasty invites on August 1st and begin gameplay by August 3rd. August 1st will give everyone who hasn't secured a game copy plenty of time to do so. In my case I'm waiting for that payday on August 1st. Any suggestions or comments on the proposed dates?

I don't mind picking another school if you guys want to ban 5 or 6 star schools. I'll pick Fresno State as an alternate. Sephiroth said he'd be Fresno State, but he was on PS3 so I assume that I can pick it for Xbox?

You basically have to get rid of the 5 and 6 star teams. If you want everyone to be on the same playing field. Also it leaves the good teams for the cpu so they will still be good.

Depending on the size of are league we should all pick a rating like 3 star and everyone pick a team that fits that model.

You can have them if you want, but I think our goal is to have 3 to 4 human players in 3 or 4 BCS conferences. Here is what we have so far:

If we ban both 5 and 6 star teams, Arik, Convicts, and you will need to pick other teams so that would jeopardize the Big Ten and likely eliminate the ACC. I was kind of hoping we'd get the 3 to 4 players in each of the Big Ten, SEC, Big East, and maybe another conference but that may not happen. If I end up being the only Big Ten team remaining, I will probably switch as well.

So I'll just be a wildcard and you guys can just direct me to whatever conference you want me to play in and I'll pick a team from there.

If we can get to 12 players, we could fill 3 conferences with 4 teams each and that might be the ideal arrangement. We could also do 2 conferences with 6 each, but I think we need to balance the regular season with the bowl season and see how we can get the most bowl matchups.

We've had 8 people claim teams but 12 people actually selected Xbox in the poll. Of those 12, I know that one of them won't play, so that would leave us with 11.

Am Louisville Or if we need big ten team I'll go with IU .Yeah it's best if we can get 4 in the same conference cause you don't want to have to schedule all the human games in your non conference games makes for a really hard schedule.

Also it goes by real schedule but the commissioner can change the non conference games but i hate leauges that stack everyone up cause it's stupid if i have to play say Georgia in week 2 cause that would never happen in real life.

another thing I do not like are the conferences that have divisions..Lets say we have 4 users in the SEC..if we split them 2 in the east and 2 in the west, essentially it is a 1 game season to go to the SEC champ game..I would be cool if we either 1) eliminated the SEC and the ACC OR we force all the users in both the SEC and ACC to all play in the same division in each conference..either is fine by me..it makes the conference much more competitive this way

I would be cool with including the pac 10 and eliminating either the SEC or ACC..and forcing the users of the remaining conference (sec or acc) to all be in the same division...or we could have the sec and the acc and have all the users be in the same division in both conferences.
