Still have to get into the karma of football and that means crisp fall weather. I played organized football for a lot of years and the memory of puking your way through summer 2-a-days is something that never goes away. When it's hot I don't even want to think about football.

Tennessee Vols are a huge question mark this year. Might be great (unlikely) or might suck like a Hoover (more likely).

First of all, unless the Tigers can beat them Tide, they ain't going to anywhere but some decent Bowl at best.

Second, let take a look at the games they will play.

BYU - could be a tough game but I think LSU will win.
Chattanooga - easy win, if not, the whole coaching staff needs to be fired except the Defense Coord.
Miss State - winnable.
Syracuse - win.
Troy - another easy win.
Florida - this could be LSU first loss of the season if they play like last time (stupid run call at the end of the game). If they play well, this game is winnable
Auburn - toss up, 50-50 IMO. Same as Florida, could be a W or L either way.
Ole Miss - easy win because the HC of OM is gone.
Bama - LSU needs to bring its A game or the losing streak will continue and I do not think LSU offense is ready for the big time yet.
Arkansas - another tough game but I think LSU will pull out another close win.
Tenn - winnable game.
TAM - winnable game.

So 10 win and 2 loss from my prediction. Probably Capital 1 or Cotton Bowl on New Year.

I was thinking about the same. During the year, Ackmed is spot on. The night of the championship, after the 1st quarter pant shitting, they played amazingly.

The new guy was a top 10 in the country, iirc. Hopefully he'll show up.

There are several reasons I can give. They would all just sound like excuses. To anyone who really watched the season and kept up with the games, its pretty clear. Clemson should have never been in the playoffs. But as you said, they did win. They're going to be like Auburn after their win, in the gutters. Bandwagon fans leaving. I stand by my comment, they were no the best team last year.

Because of Harvey, LSU vs. BYU will be in New Orleans instead of Houston so I will pick LSU. Will be a close game (10 pts or less win).

Yes. A few times. They did have to play in Arizona against Sun Devils because of a storm. Last year game vs. Florida was rescheduled to another date and to Baton Rouge because of a storm (LSU will have to play at FL two years in a row as pay back). Then rescheduled/new location against Tenn a few years ago. A few other games were canceled or delayed/rescheduled. Too many to remember/list them all.
