Bama is good but not invincible. Look at what Clemson was able to do last year. Was Clemson so predictable as LSU? That's my point.

Let me make it clear. I am NOT saying let the QB run and run because of course Etling is no Cam Newton. What I am saying is let MIX it up. See how the wildcat formation was able to do to Bama defense? Let do this and that, other things, and more (option, screen, etc.) to move the ball ahead instead of let run left and run right (Bama would stack the box) then let the QB throw and of course, he would miss the throw or short or being sack. Predictable and play it safe won't make it vs. Bama. That's why Les Miles was fired. I personally like him as a person but his stubbornness and predictable in offense philosophy are the reasons for his downfall as a coach at LSU.

Kind of a disappointing day. Almost all the big games were either blow outs, or fairly one sided. Bama-Mississippi State, and Iowa State-Oklahoma State were the only two close games that I can think of. Tuesday will be interesting, just to see how the committee now views the teams that lost big.

Personally I'd like to see Bama lose to Auburn this week, shake things up. It'd be funny to hear people cry about having two SEC teams in the playoffs too if things go right.

So many SEC teams looking for a coach... I hope we get someone good.

They've lost 4 starting linebackers, I think 2 the very first game. Its easy to say, "well the backups are 5 star too", this isnt always true and a starter is a starter. They have a lot of injuries so we'll see what happens. Their D isn't as good as it has been in years past. Like most teams, a running QB gives them trouble. Yes there is a big difference in quality from Bama to Arkansas.

I watched the entire game.. he didn't play great. Auburn easily got the better calls that both put points on, and took points off the board. Bama bobbling the snap of a FG, and then the refs calling a personal foul on Bama for taking the helmet off an Auburn player, which was complete bullshit. Easy 6 point swing. Bama's linebackers are their weak spot. A team that runs a significant amount more plays wears them down, and runs the ball. Like in this case.

Any team should be afraid to play Auburn today. We'll see if their RB is out of not for next week against Georgia.

My boss is a huge Tennessee fan, it'll be interesting to see his reaction tomorrow. I definitely wouldn't want to play Auburn. I think we're in for a really great CFB playoff.

Schiano is not going to be the Vols coach because Vols fans are crazy. This would make for an interesting case on internet mobs and their impact on the real world because the internet mob brought this whole thing to a halt. The mob was mainly formed because of Schiano's alleged link to the PSU child rape scandal, even though there is no proof he had knowledge of it. Of course they will then say "yeah but he sucks as a coach too". The latter was going to be used against 95% of the candidates while the former just helped transition this from a simple couch burning to a dumpster fire.

This has been one f'd up week. Tennessee is a new disaster each day, but Fisher leaving FSU for A&M really blew me away. Start of this year, I would never have expected FSU to be 5-6, and lose their head coach.
