Why? ND has been under performing for years, hasn't had a chance like this in recent memory, and got humiliated in their only chance in about 20 years. LSU has actually won championships recently, and their main rival is Alafuckingbama. ND's rivals aren't in the same league.

Uh, hey numbnuts, they were the only eligible undefeated team in Division 1. Only a true hater would say they didn't deserve to be there. They played the schedule they were given to perfection, Alabama didn't. In the end ND had more of a claim to be in the game than Bama did. Bama needed many more breaks to happen just to get there too. Now, did Bama earn being there more than ND? Probably, but that's the statement/question that should be put out there.
