Go Panthers!
Watching McNabb play this year has been a suckfest in itself.

I'll throw in Colts vs. Rams!
that would've been an awesome SB! 2 high powered offensive teams = exciting game
2 high powered defensive teams = borefest, as in Pats vs Panthers
However, I must cheer for Pats.
Cats have good players, but their dirty plays left a bad taste in my mouth. Let's see how they perform in the SB...they may still win my respect

You only think it's crappy because your favorite team is not there. I will be rooting for the Panthers, and I think we have a good chance of winning it. With the kind of beating we put on the Eagles today, McNabb and the receivers mostly, I don't think the Patriots will be able to do any better.
5 turnovers, 6 dropped passes, 5 sacks, were getting manhandled in the secondary with no help from refs, and the panthers still only won by 11
the panthers suck. the eagles just sucked more. they'll get destroyed in the SB

Why? The panthers in have been in tons of close games. Cardiac Cats......
What makes a Superbowl "crappy"?

YADBF - Yet another disgruntled and bitter fan.
And Linus - Explain to me how the Panthers are NOT exciting to watch. That has to be the most retarded statement I have ever heard.

Why do i need to explain my own personal opinion? What's retarded is that you're so close minded and such a fanboi for the Panthers that you can't fathom that someone else could possibly think watching Jake throw for 101 yards a game is "exciting".
Maybe it's exciting for you, since you are a "Fan" of the team, but maybe not for others? Check out the word bias and get back to me. I watch for the love of the game, but I don't particularly care for the Panthers type of play. Their O is crap. It might get the job done, but that doesn't mean its pretty to watch. Only a fan of the team would think that.
NE is a much better team going into the game. I give them the edge by far with Mr. B at QB. Their D is solid enough to shut down any Panther scoring. I don't however think the Pathers D can stop the Pats O.

More like the Giants vs. Ravens...
Nobody gave the Ravens a chance. But look who won that one.
What would be so awesome about watching teams who either have a sh!tty Defense or a bungling coach? What I thought was awesome was the way the Pats shut down the Colts high Powered O. Only a great D could do thatOriginally posted by: LikeLinus

Uh no, really has nothing to do with my favorite team. It's two teams that just are not that exciting to watch.
There were a few games that would have been awesome to watch
Colts vs Packs (two great QB's and RB's)
Titans vs St. Louis (rematch of 1999 Superbowl)
or Chiefs vs St Louis (two great O's and coachs vs each other)
Any of those 3 games would have been far superior to this game.
I'll only "root" for NE because they are AFC.

I am not the fanboi here. I never trash talked any of the teams nor did I hype up the panthers. You, and the rest of the fans of the teams who arent going to the SB are just bitter.
Where did I say that the Panthers O is awesome? Get it through your head that I am not even expecting the Panthers to win yet am a fan.
Look around you, I am not the bias one here.
Thr difference between the Pats and the teams the Panthers had to beat in the Playoffs to advance to the SB is that the Pats use the short pass like a running game. The Defensive Line of the Panthers won't have enough time to get to Brady because he takes such short drops and unloads the ball so quickly. The main problem with the Pat Offense was their play in the Red Zone. Against the Panthers it shouldn't be so much a worry because the Panthers aren't that explosive of an offense themselves and the Pat's D is the best!Originally posted by: FreshPrince
Everyone that thinks T. Brady will tear up Panthers D is just plain wrong. They have an awesome pass rush and I believe this will make the game almost unbearable to watch. You will see lots of punts in this game...trust me.
