What makes Brady such an awesome QB is that he is not necessarily the most talented or best arm in the NFL, but he makes plays when it matters. I would any day of the week take a QB that makes timely plays and steps up in clutch situations over a highly talented but inconsistent QB (i.e. Manning).

And to the people saying the Panthers gave it away on the botched kickoff, it goes both ways. If Vinatieri hadn't botched his early game FG, it wouldn't have even come down to that drive.

It just ain't the Superbowl without the boys! Don't you dudes agree?

I lived in Philly when Howard Kosel deemed Dallas "Americas team"

Howie used to say things like "It must be such an honor for the Eagles to be playing against such a superior force"

Well, Howie was walking through a fan accessable area (he was below)

We unloaded our used beer on him.

That answer your question?

And I would have beat you guys up if you did that to me!

You are probably too young to remember Howard Kosel. If you did you would have joined in

Or if the Panthers hadn't blocked his 2nd try...on and on and on...all that matters is that its over.

Its ok, the Eagles fans are just jealous because they have never won a superbowl, and haven't gone to one in many, many years.

Nice Cadilac Convertible for you Tom!

Aw come on, he through a goddamn interception in the redzone, and Delhomme and muhammed had the longest TD pass in SB history.

If Delhomme is going to prove himself in the NFL, he needs to become a true leader, he needs to keep having good seasons. Brady has been here before, this is his third season and he is a proven quarterback. Personally, I think Delhomme will fade into obscurity come next season.

From the kind of numbers he's put up, and his inability to win a super bowl so far, i'd say he's going to be the next Marino

Wtf? Remember it wasn't delhommes fault they lost this game, he led his team in the last minutes of the 4th quarter to get the touchdown to tie the game. No one ever argued that Brady hasn't been here before, but how did Delhomme NOT prove himself today? You = idiot.

Delhomme kept them in this game. He proved a lot to me, they had ran the ball more in the other two playoff games which was the only real exposure I had to the Panthers this season. I was very impressed. To make it seem like he didn't prove anything today is bogus. I agree with Excelsior.

*sigh* Casey should burn for that. As soon as I saw that kick my first thought was Dallas/NY week 1. Pathetic.

Anyway, props to both teams on a well played game.

Oh, to the people who said it would be a boring game to watch; Do you feel as stupid as you look right now?

Yeah, same here, but apparently to others he just didn't do enough, or _insert comment here__.

Lay off Kasay people. The Pats would have probably had it at the 30 anyway as Kasay no longer gets it to the endzone. It is the two point conversions that made the difference in this game. That is all. Great game by both teams. I'm still ecstatic that the Panthers were there in the first place. Can't wait till the NFL draft, then next season.

WORD! He doesn't get any attention., but he should. I've been to one of his bowl games and 10+ regular games, and he is the man.

Warren Sapp is a huge moron. He said on PTI that NE's offensive line sucked, especially one who's name I can't remember. Warren said he didn't even belong in the NFL. Well, NE's offensive line, including the so-called weakling Sapp was trashing on national TV didn't allow a single sack all post season. Warren Sapp should keep his fat mouth shut.

Congratulations to New England. I'm a Panther fan but I think the best team won. NE controlled the line of scrimmage most of the game. NE, gave up a couple of huge plays, but overall I think they were the better TEAM today. I'm really proud of the Panthers, too. The accounted for themselves quite well I think.

You can't say the what ifs like that. What if adam hadn't missed 2 field goals? What if the Pats had scored instead of that interception? What if Harrison hadn't been injured and the Panthers didn't score that last touchdown(or maybe the 2nd to last, I can't remember? What if that catch that was knocked loose by the pats hadn't been blown dead? What if... you get my point. Its not as easy to predict things as you claim. I think that Pats could have put alot more points on the board if not for a few mistakes.
