Honestly who cares? His tweets get more attention outside of Twitter than Twitter itself.

He's the fucking president, not some vapid teenager worrying about how popular he'll be by prom. Maybe he could, for a month straight, act presidential. I was in AA and one of the sayings was fake it til you make it, he should give that a shot, but fake being and adult first, don't go for presidential all at once, way too big of a bite.

That someone buys fake followers is neither new, nor exciting or noteworthy.

But where it gets interesting is WHY someone would need fake, say, facebook persona for spreading their agenda or views.
(As an example, you can check many so called "patriotic" Trump etc. fb pages, and then cross-check the profiles of "people" who are vehemently defending Trump, posting pro-Trump, anti-liberal, anti-Hillary etc. stuff)

"NORMAL people" on facebook have "normal" accounts, like you and me. They don't have facebook presences that ONLY contain pro-Trump and anti-Liberal memes AND NOTHING ELSE.

And this is going on long since before the elections even concluded, on a massive, massive scale. (The targeted creation and then spreading of false news..not even mentioned here. But we know all that already...)

I'd say it definitely matters more than BM grunt-induced typos because the fake account thing speaks directly to the personality of the dude--his fragile ego, his daddy disorders, his narcissism. Look at the links again. Hillary has more fake than real followers and Trump has significantly more real than fake. Everything in this thread which called out Trump has been shown to be inaccurate and any criticisms remain and even more so on Hillary than with Trump.

There's no good way to spin this back onto Trump and it's foolish to try.

Might be a lesson to learn.
