These are available locally ... Just call your local Staples ... I called Staples.com inquiring about the rebate and was told however that the website was a misprint and the CSR gave no indication that this $100.00 rebate would be honored.

I am keeping my sealed awaiting a resolution.

A 19&quot; by a Japanese brand, this is .26 dot pitch for $160, what an ubelievable deal.

Sorry about that, it was our mistake, and you have three options, keep the monitor without MIR, reject the shipment, or returned it within 30 days.

Of course I will reject the shipment.

Ok nevermind. You CANNOT order this monitor if the website is out of stock, even if your local store has plenty (like mine does). Staples stores don't deliver unless the item is in stock in the warehouse. Considering I don't have a car, there is no way I am going to the staples store and carrying the damned thing on my back.

Regarding the rebate -- the website says $100 rebate right on the monitor page, so you can easily make a plausible argument if they refuse to give you the money. Disclaimers that they are not responsible for errors are usually not worth sh*t, if the customer believes the offer is for real I learned that in my Contracts class

My story is different from Wei2Cool's. I called Staples yesterday and was transferred between the customer service and the rebate center for 6 times and finally was told that she was going to call me back 10am today morning. She called, on time, and told me that the rebate center said just use the $100 rebate form for 19&quot; MULTISYNC FE950 (not FE950+). I asked her 2 times whether she was sure about this, she was positive. That's it.

Well, I can imagine that after 30 days (when you can not return the monitor for a refund), they will wave your money on your face and tease you, my question is, can you do anything about it?

They still have the rebate available next to the monitor, if it is a typo, they should remove it immediately, otherwise, they just trying to mislead customers...

Good luck, and I am to return the monitor on the 29th day. Too bad they won't pay me for burn-in it.
