My local Staples has this monitor on clearance for $101.50. NEC has a $30 rebate here:

Add a Staples coupon and you could get it for around $50 plus tax.

Don't know the quality, but it is flat screen.

I think this deal is local. Checked two staples in my area (San Jose, CA) and the monitors are not on clearance.
