If anybody in Southern California (Orange County/Inland Empire preferred, L.A. county alright too) can get ahold of one of these monitors at the 110% pricematched amount, please let me know. I'd love to swing by, pick one up, along with $10 for your trouble. I'll handle the rebate on my own, just need the original receipt for the spare monitor please. Please PM me or E-MAIL ME if you're up for it.

Thanks

Ok...This is the first real deal that I am interested in...So I had to stop lurking and sign up.. Now my dilemma is PS/2 for 199 or 19" monitor ....Oh the agony!!

I will let you people decide! If someone will PM the links to me then I should buy the monitor...If you dont I should buy the PS/2. Just think of the power you have. LOL

Is there a PRINTABLE $30 off $150 at Staples, or do we just have to supply them a code? If Printable can someone PM me?
The Manager here seems to want to add a shipping charge! IF he goes to the web site he will see it is >$100.

Just got back from Staples, they had one of NEC left. Asked them to pricematch with compu-america, and they went to the back to check the site. Came back and said they had to add the shipping from the site for the actual price, which brought the total to around $210, too much for me. I'm going to go back at a different time to hopefully find a nicer manager, but it would be nice if I had some backup sites, so if anyone can PM or email me different sites to pricematch to it would be greatly appreciated, as I'm going back ASAP. Thanks!

Wow... the shipping is really killing this deal for me. The manager said he had to add shipping... bring the price to $205 before maybe getting him to take the $30 coupon code (since I can't find a printable coupon for $30 off $150) and hopefully get a $30 MIR for total of maybe $140... depending on tax, etc. That hurts. I was hoping for $50 less. Any suggestions? We need some place with better shipping charges. Whoever got in this deal with less than $50 shipping wound up with an awesome deal.

Edit: PM me if you figure out how to get around the totally ridiculous shipping addition.

everyone is gonna hate me....

I got this monitor for $75 after rebate tonight at my B&M staples. The people at my staples are either really nice or just plain out stupid. I brought the monitor (last one) up to the check out.... bust out my print out of that shady website that had it for $149.... they looked at it weird and then said "whatever".... did the price match for 110%! At that point the price was down to $135 and the manager was looking kinda pissed but she wasn't gonna back out. Then I bust out my 30 off coupon and they used it even though it had to be over $150 purchase. So now its $105.... and no taxes in DE. So after rebate it'll be $75. That is flaming hot! Thanks sexual chocolate for the great deal... my 15 inch monitor was ready to bite the dust.
Sweet monitor by the way... I like it a lot.

OK, I got the printable $30 off $150. It expires today but there is one good 'til Friday. You guys scared me re: shipping, and sure enough last night they said they needed to add overnight shipping!

BUT, I called this AM and they said they still had one in stock. I told them that the manager said yesterday he would PM it...they said he was not in 'til Lunch time!!!

So, what's a good Hot Deal guy to do? I went there at 10 AM and they got me the Monitor. He PM'ed it at $149 and the Shipping junque began! He asked the person to check shipping for 35 pounds overnight! Yeah, right! I said that they had a policy stating $5 shipping if the charges were NOT on the printed web page I brought them. While the clerk looked at me someone else said that I was correct. He added $5 which brought it to $154. I took out my coupon and he entered 30 CENTS! He caught it and said "what the hell" and took off $30 more. My price was $123.70. Also, the register prints out the $30 rebate!

Now, I called necmitsubishi and they are supposed to be emailing me XP drivers!

P.S. Anyone get their XP drivers yet? I assume they are NOT in the box.

Thanks all...I also just got the Samtron 76V last week for $54!!

Ok, I got everything ready and headed to Staples. The guy there is really nice and friendly, he called compu-usa to check the price but too bad, compu-usa told him that there's $55.57 shipping so he had to add to my order. He told me he didn't know that until compu-usa told him so. Damn compu-usa. Anyway, the total is 197.23 - $30 coupon + tax. My order ended up $181.03 total. I used my Amex so I am going to call Amex to get the different, $197.23 - $149 - $30 coupon = $18.23. At the end after I signed the receipt, the lady noticed that there's a MIR and was about to add another $30. She called her manager and was told to by pass that.

So my final price is

$181.03 - $30MIR - $18.03 = $133

This is a warm deal to me, I just sold my 17" Envision (I bought from Staples $30) for $100. So I just added $38 more to get 19" monitor. I am using MultiSync FE950 and love it. I'll give this to my bro and he's going to pay for it.

Got one from Staples yesterday. 110% PM to $149 and add a one year no-hassle Staples warranty so that I can use the $30 off $150 coupon.
Final is $135-$30MIR=105 for a 19 inch monitor with 90 days + 1 year warranty, not bad.

I got mine for $154 as they added $5 shipping! Then I used $30 off $150 and rebate. Total will be about $93.

I went to necmitsubishi site and got Signed Drivers...they are for XP. I must say this has to be a Great 19" monitor. I use 85hz refresh, although on most res. I can go beyond 100hz!

On most win9X and XP you can right click desktop and go to properties-settings, etc. Look at adapter and Monitor but may depend on adapter and monitor .inf you already have loaded.

Well I went to Staples here in Tulsa and tried to get in on this deal Friday. They had five of these out on shelves that I could see. First the girls at the checkout told me they didn't Price match on-line retailers. I told her I had no problems doing it before so she got the manager. The manager also said they didn't pricematch online sources. Then after some more discussion she said she would have to go make some calls to verify some things. When she came back she had called CompAmerica and got the over night shipping tagged on the price...bringing the total up to $204...I was still willing to go through with the deal and whipped out the $30 off $150 coupon and she said I COULDN"T USE IT!!! B1tch!!! Probably just doing her job, but I said good bye.
