Nedd Car Audio Amplifier Advice

I need a good 4 channel amp for my car stereo. I'm gonna be running a pair of Infinity reference componenets (605cs) and a pair of infinity kappa 6x9's (692.5i). head unit is either gonna be a pioneer 7400mp or the premier version of it: the 740mp.
please post all suggestions

After reading around I got the 740mp over 7400. There is not that much difference in price but there are some nice extra features. Its not even installed yet cause I'm waiting for the harness kit but its a nice looking rig.

Alpine makes pretty good amps. Myself I'm quite happy with Kenwood's Excelon line. Pioneer makes good amps as well. I would say Rockford Fosgate is pretty much the upper end of "chain store" gear.

There a TON of amps out there that will fit your need. Those are just a few select models from a few manufacturers. Remember, as long as its not swap meet stuff (jensen or pyle) watts are watts and theres no difference in amps other then how many watts ya get and what extra features it comes with.
