Need a Case recommendation --- PLEASE!

Hey Guys

I will be upgrading my system, and decided to go with a better case. What is the top notch case that anyone can buy. There should be one out there that the hardcore oc'ers know as a houshold name. I have been into oc-ing alot, just always opted for the generic case.

Please recommend.

I would say Antec SX830!!! Great case!!! I bought one a couple of months ago and I love it. I don't do alot of o/c, but, it has great ventilation and room for four fans (comes w/two). Lots of room inside as well. Good luck.

if you want a REAL COOL and QUIET one, the fong kai 320 is the tower you want
(i have a fk-603 mid tower and i dont hear a thing!!!! even with 4 fans!!!!)

one more vote for the Antec SX830. you can get it at onvia for $81.32 and free shipping. it a great case. quiet 300w ps, sturdy, comes with 2 fans, great ventilation, etc. you will not be dissappointed. the chenbro genie is another great case, but costs $200.

A case that will make any overclocker ooo and aahh would be the Lite-On FS020. Those three 120mm fan mounts make my heart beat faster ; ) and even if you outfitted it with the quietest, lowest-ouput 120mm fans it would still be very well-ventilated.

From a practical standpoint of value for the dollar, I'd sure think about the Antec, although I'd get the SX1030 for the extra 5.25" bay.

I like my Addtronics case. It's a 6890A. Mine has 4 8x8 fans(two intake and one exhaust in each door) and a 6x6 fan under the P/S. The MoBo tray comes out, the doors swing open and the top comes off. The new cases come with a 92mm fan(under the P/S) instead of the 60 like mine has.

Yeah, but where do you find that Lite-On FS020? That case ia amazing but several searches have turned up nowhere to purchase it. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got the Addtronics W8500, This case is unbufuckingleavable! You could fit 2 dead bodies in this thing, It fits 5 fans in the front, 4 in the back, and 1 on the side. It has enough room for a playground. It comes with either a 300 or 400 watt power supply and two fans. It's a very cool case. Check it out here

i have the Antec SX1080B Black case... sickest damn case I've ever seen.. I've got 2 fans in the front and 2 in the back and more room than i can handle.. heres a pic.. its the one on the right.. the one on the left is the infamous hydraulic case

I am looking for an ergonomic case, though. Even though I dod do alot of overcocking, the thinner the case the better.

Any other specific suggestions.?

Recently purchased both a Fong Kai and an Antec. Both nice cases but really no comparison in my opinion in regards to quality of construction. The Fong Kai hands down.

i have both the fong kai 603 and the 320 and both of them are great both with regard to thermal and integrity. if you need a 2nd external 3.5 get the 603, if 1 external 3.5 is all you need then the 320 is quite a bit more sturdy and slightly better thermally

The elan vital t-10 is quite thin like you said you want. I think it would need some mods to be a good overclocker though.

Hey Crazy, how slim is hte Elan Vital T-10 (I am assuming you have one). From the picture, it seem slike an ordinary size case. Could you tell us (or email me) the dimensions.
