Need a good alarm clock to help my wife wake up in the morning...

And no, no clocky... I don't want to have to get my ass up to help her figure out where the bitch rolled.

I have to tune to the inbetween stations on the AM band which are basically just static mixed with bleed-over of the stations on full volume to wake up. It's brutal but it does the job.

The best thing to do is do the good-ole radio static trick at HIGH volume, with the radio placed across the room.

I got one a while ago and cant figure out how to change it from birds.... I HATE BIRDS. They freek me out with their soulless eyes and hate filled hearts. That thing is insane. It's gone up in price like mad since I first checked it out. I bought a lame imitation that doesn't even work for $15. I got pissed at the supplier and they sent me 2 more replacements which don't work either. The clock part does but not the part that shoots the puzzle pieces... =(

Sometimes I use an mp3 playing alarm clock program on my laptop. I hook my laptop up to the speakers next to my bed, and program it to play "The Raising Fighting Spirit" from Naruto at full volume at 6AM. That usually wakes me up pretty well.

EDIT: If I don't need to get up so violently, I use a OCRemixed version of "To Far Away Times" (lossless FLAC file) which I absolutely love and have set so it gets progressively louder for my alarm clock. That song is part of a Chrono Trigger music remix colelction called "Chrono Symphonic", available as in both MP3 and FLAC from OCRemix.org. There's a lot of good music from that site.
