Need a good X99 motherboard for overclocking

My fourth Asus X99-S failed to post a week after a bios update and progressive failure of the USB slots and my RMA has been refused due to 'bent CPU pins'. I'm sure they weren't bent when I sent it but either way I won't be buying Asus again due to the nightmare I've experienced in the last seven months including frying a CPU, not booting out of the box and USB slots not working seven months after launch without a bios update.
I need a new X99 board for my 5960x with m2 pcie support, at least 3 way crossfire/SLI support and a decent overclocker. Any suggestions gratefully received but I'd prefer something costing less than £300/350 dollars.

Just to keep in mind,take pics of the board before sending to RMA.
This frying CPU issue keeps coming up with some asus x99 boards even at OCN,ROG and other forums.The issue is still unclear.
OC formula 3.1 might be a good choice along with many other alternatives.

I've been very happy with my asrock board. The OC formula 3.1 might be worth looking into.

I need a mb but i keep reading more and more stories about broke asus and asrock motherboards. Maybe its because people buying x99 are a little more vocal on forums and websites. I was sure a wanted an x99 pro but now i might go with msi, ive had 2 boards over the last 7 years with 0 problems. But i looked into failure rates of x99 boards and there all pretty close.

I'm glad that you started this thread, but I'm sorry to hear about your issues. You're a fellow EU purchaser and I was and am still considering the Asus X99-e WS 3.1, or the refreshed version because of the PLX chips and the pci-e lane capability.

From reviews, it is quite a good overclocker. Is your experience with your board relevant to all Asus motherboards? Am also looking for a great x99 overclocker with your requirements for Broadwell-E
