Any reason why? If you're going to be gaming (I saw the 9800 pro) you're going to want AMD

just for your information, intel is not the better chip. neither amd or intel is better then each other in general. each cpu has its specialties, and if you want the best performance out of the system for your needs, could u tell us wut the computer will be for? since you wanted a radeon 9800 pro, i'm 90% sure you want the system for gaming. if so, then amd is the way to go. if you want to know whcih cpu will be faster in general for every type of use, amd is the faster one. intel owns in encoding/decoding. as a fact tho, intel is currently the underdog in overall cpu performance.

so take the "crap" card, which really isnt all that bad, sell it on ebay, and put your 4400 in it? If you aren't building the system yourself thats where things get kinda limited choice wise.

well, define reliable, dell parts aren't anymore "reliable" than the parts I used to build my computer, the warranty is what makes dell reliable. ABS makes great computers, a friend of mine got one a little ways back, he's very happy with it. The plus with ABS is that they let you customize it to an extent, which is nice if you dont wanna build it yourself.

most people who know about abs would go with abs. they are better then dell in upgradability, longevity, and better in performance. abs's parent company is newegg.com, where most people buy their computer parts from. newegg is one of the highest rated online retailors in the world, and are known for great customer support and etc. as for reliability, they should be as good as dell.

If you get a dell, you'll be regretting it when you want to game and push your hardware, With dells you cannot upgrade to better cooling, overclock the processor, and in most cases, you can't even upgrade the power supply. I've owned 3 dells, but after building my own comp, i'll never go back, the freedom is SUCH a great feeling If you go ABS you won't be sorry

most people go wtih dell mainly because of marketing. i dont believe dell sells computers for cheap. i believe that they build low end systems and sell them to the people with higher clockspeed cpu's so that they seem cheap. otherwise, teh computers are crap. but...they are also one of the few companies that sell computers at cheap prices so that people can afford them. thats wut makes them popular. still, i've never seen anyone buy a good overall performing computer from dell for a cheap price. i find emachines and hp more affordable for the performance they include. then again, dell wins reliability for the warranties only. the quality of items dell and abs use are the same. if you're looking for performance, go wtih abs. if you just want a longer warranty, see which one includes the longer one, and then you have your answer. i hope this helps.

i'm probably one of the persons being tricked by dell. well at least i've learned my lesson! thanks.
