Need a PC that will work with minimal airflow and high heat

My kitchen has a built-in desk and I have all cords running to a cabinet under the desk but my Dell Dimension 3000 overheats and locks up if I leave the cabinet closed. I have to keep the door open and use a fan (thermaltake USB powered 80mm) to exhaust the heat. I need a PC that meets the following criteria but will work with the cabinet closed (if this is impossible I can permanently mount the exhaust fan.

Would prefer something 2ghz+ with at least 6 USB ports
priorities: low ventilation requirements, then low heat, low power would be a plus (could get a green WD if that will help)

Noise and power consumption are secondary factors, I just want it to be able to run 24/7 without worrying too much about reliability or longevity.

Any ideas? I have an older shuttle that I am going to try out but as I recall Shuttle had a lot of bad capacitor issues and I fear the heat would exacerbate that.

Power consumption is not a secondary factor if you want "low ventilation requirements, low heat", it is in fact the one primary factor.

What are you using this for? If it's just web browsing, you don't really need a beefy processor

theres a reason why computer cases come with a few mounts for fans. its generally not a good idea to keep parts that produce a good amount of heat without some type of ventilation

You could even suspend a SATA notebook hard drive in the hard drive bay ( SPCR) for even lower noise, heat, and possibly power consumption.

(I read that the 1.6 ghz Atom is supposed to be about equivalent to 1 gHz Pentium M or something like that)

Huh, the PC in my sig runs in a fully closed kitchen cabinet. It's at work and runs 24/7. I'll shoot some pics tomorrow. I added vents to the cabinet to get some airflow.
