Need a PSU reccomendation

Oops, accidentally posted an empty message. OK, I need at least a 300w PSU, capable of powering a PC of the following specs:
Soyo Dragon KT600+
XP1800+
512mb pc2100
GForce4 Ti4600 128mb
Maxtor 7200rpm 80gb HD
Maxtor 7200rpm 40gb HD
Liteon DVD rom

I plan on adding a pair of 300gb SATA drives, a 9700Pro and a Hauppage WinTV PVR150 capture card. So keep that in mind when you pull up some specs.

That PSU looks pretty good, but what's the reliability on a SuperFlower unit? The HTPC won't be turned off except if the power goes out or I need to work on the hardware. Directron's reseller ratings look decent. I may go with that one, thanks.

Anybody else have other options?

I have read that Superflowers are reliable though I can't say from personal experience. Antec, Fortron, OCZ, Enermax are all good.

A HTPC should be quiet as possible, that means Seasonic. 300 watts and 18+ amps on the 12v rail is plenty.

A cheap alternative might be the Coolmax Taurus 400W power supply with the bottom feeding 120 mm fan:

I've got it in an Antec Sonata with an AMD Athlon XP at 3200+ speeds and a Radeon 9700 Pro and system seems very stable.

I've never heard the fan spin up and the bearings (which do make a slight noise very close up) has essentially always been silent in my case (corollary is that it doesn't push much air, either, if you need it to improve case ventilation).

Some others at SilentPCReview.com have also had successs with this power supply.

Got mine at NewEgg for $38 shipped last year.

I'm guessing that as long as you stay within it's recommended specs, you would be fine with it.

The dimensions listed for the Super Flower look a bit large: 6"(W) x 6.25"(L) x 3.5"(H)". Aren't normal dimensions 5.9" x 5.5" x 3.4"? If the dimensions on direction are accurate, that would be something to consider.

Btw, I like Seasonics as well... or PCP&C Silencers which seem to be clones of the Seasonic Silencer.

I personally would steer clear of Antecs. They have very good specs, but I have had two fail on me in such a way as to take out an entire motherboard. The silver lining to that cloud is that they have a fairly liberal RMA policy.
On the other hand I have never had any problems with ENERMAX, Seasonic or PC Power and Cooling. OCZ's stuff looks great, but they are new to PS manufacture.

The Seasonic S12 330W should be enough for almost any system. And the S12s have a reputation for quietness. If you aren't in a hurry, the new line of XClio PSUs might be worth a look when they finally show up. Don't have a specific date yet.

The brands that I would recommend are enermax, allied, and superflower. I would personaly go with Allied just because they've always been good when I've used them.

Coolmax (used to go by ATNG) are decent low-end PSUs. You can often get the same unit for less inder the Rosewill (Newegg's in-house packager) name for less as most of the Rosewill PSUs are Coolmax/ATNG.

Do you know what other companies OEM for them (e. g. memory, etc.)?
