Ok, so my first build ever is winding down. I already ordered a BFG Geforce 6800 GT OC PCI-E off Monarch this weekend, but I can still cancel. It looks like newegg just got a new stock of e-VGA cards. Which one would you guys go for? Overalll it's be $80 more for the e-VGA. The BFG has a lifetime warranty tho, and I'm not OCing, so I'll definitely always have that warranty. Quick response would be great since newegg might run out quick!!

EDIT: When it comes to pure power and quality, which one is better?

I have two BFGs but I am not sure of eVGAs quality although I hear they are quite good as well. But I say BFG regardless.

Stick with the BFG one you already have ordered. There just different companies, but it's the same card.

I ordered the BFG right when Monarch got them in stock, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem getting one. Is it going to be irritably loud? I'm going for a decently quiet system. I heard the evga is much, much more quiet.

EDIT: Whatever... haha, lifetime warranty is really something I don't want to give up. Plus it's got a slight OC,... plus I can use the $80 bucks towards a 2005fpw. =]

Look At This before you purchase that 2005FPW.

Yeah, I've already read that. Well, I'm not the kind of guy who likes to sit on the computer in the dark. Of course on any LCD you're gonna notice the backlight bleed through when you're sitting in a pitch black room. Also, at this moment, you can't really compare LCDs to CRTs, there just isn't much of a comparison. I'll take my chances with this monitor, and if it doesn't meet my needs, I'm sure I can sell it or give it to one of my siblings or something.

Reguardless of how well lit your room is, your still going to see that the backlight is too bright. The backlight bleed through is a seperate issue, which may not occur on the monitor you get.

He's right, everyone here loves BFG, I personally have never owned a BFG card, but I don't think this many people would just lie to you for no reason, so I say go with BFG. (provided you can find them that is )

I have two BFG 6800GT OC's, awesome cards, great performance, and they aren't very loud.

Yup, I am for sure. I still have a BFG GeForceFX 5600 that continues to run everything except maybe Farcry. I bought a BFG 6800 Ultra OC, and the thing came factory OC'd to 440/1200!! I'd say go with the BFG, their customer support is top notch also.

pure power and quality - EVGA

Warranty - BFG

EVGA is a better card, but BFG has a better warranty. BFG cards aren't bad either, just no as good as EVGA.

How do you figure that eVGA has better quality? I mean they both pretty much use the reference Nvidia design, but BFG picks cores that can run at a guaranteed 370 core, wheras eVGA doesn't. My question is, what makes eVGA better in any facet?
