Need a Stick Blender

Give a guy some serious help. I am "going through the motions" here so as to maintain my good standing with AT.
I need a professional quality "Stick Blender", like those you see on TV with either Emeril or Wolfgang Puck. It needs to be heavy duty and easily cleaned. I really like the one I saw before on HSN that had several attachments on it that allowed you to make it a chopper, blender, etc.
I do a lot of different dishes that require ( or are made easier) a stick blender. Any assistance you can give will be gratefully accepted and given freely.

I saw one of these the other day at a second hand store for like $3. Slight problem was that it didn't have any blades. Hot Deal though, just like this.

OK, now as to Hot Deals on this item, 'fraid I don't have any good suggestions.

As to What to buy, I personally like the Swiss made Bamix, but they are insanely expensive:
New ones can run $200 +, and even the used ones go for $60+ on eBay (the older models like mine have only one speed; the newer, more powerful ones have 2 speeds)

I ran across a review on the web for these immersion blenders around the first of the year: I'll post it if I can find it.
