I can see where this post is coming from. In this country, "Mexican" is almost synonymous with "Nig-er." It's a sad commentary but true. How one's country of origin can be so offensive is beyond me but that's the fact. However, I do know that living in Texas and being in the insurance industry, those of Mexican heritage are often uninsured and often carry loads of junk on their pickup trucks which spill their contents on the highway and cause accidents.

I wish it weren't true but it is. Whenever there's a slowdown on the highway and you look to the right lane, there's usually three Mexicans in a pickup "picking up" stuff that has dropped off.

I speak from personal experience that when a car is wrecked and the damage approaches 2/3s the value of the vehicle, they will take over the car and write you a check. You have to specifically request that though, obviously they like to do what's cheapest and easiest.
