Don't include it. And, you could even go as far as me and not write a cover letter either. I had several interviews last semester at large software companies and startups without it. I now have a job lined up at a startup
Although, if your gpa sucks and you don't have any experience, you may not want to follow my advice.
From what I've been told by hiring managers and HR folks is that 95% of the time they don't read that crap. They're more interested in seeing if you're qualified. If it's a company that really cares how well I can BS a cover letter/objective, I probably don't really want be working for them in the first place.
