Im not sure what parts to choose to finish this beast off. Currently:
Case: Skyhawk
Mobo: ECS K7S5A PRO
Pro: ??? (socket A)
RAM: ??? (DDR)
PSU: Powmax 480w
HDD: 20Gig IBM Deskstar
Video: ???
Optical: ???
Monitor: 17" Envision "flatglass" Monitor
OS: Windows ME
Im thinking Duron 1.6 for processor, Spectek 256MB PC2100 for RAM, BTC DVD burner. Unknown video card.
I really like the idea of Spektec Ram if if uses chips Micron deems not worthy of name brand. Would PNY be worse? Cas 4? The Mobo uses both DDR and SDram, but I want DDR.
The skyhawk case is awesome. It has a cable that stretches from the front of the case to the back to make the front ports useable. So, eithter the front or back ports are non fuctional at all times, a brilliant design. No mobo connections.
I also spent $5 on a 5" Death Star Decal for it and purchased a Death Star mouse pad at a yard sale to complete the theme. And of course it will have a custom case badge for each part.
Does Bose make powered cubes?
So what do you guys recommend?
