Need Advice on selling current system

I'm asking for a some advice. In a month or two. I'm planning on building a new intel q6600 rig with either a 8800GT or 3870 depending how the prices settle.

I'm looking to sell my current system which is composed of the following:

• AMD 3000+ Venice w/ Thermaltake XP-120 HS
  DFI UT4 Lanparty
  1 Meg Mushkin BH-5 Memory
  Hitachi Deskstar 250 MB Sata HD
  Nvidia 7800GT
  Seasonic 430 Watt PS
  Antec SLK3700 Case

Now I've sold some small amount of items on EBay, (member bsixberry) and I set up a Heatware account but never have used it yet (Heatware 0-0-0).

Now here are my questions:
1) Should I part this out or sell as system?
2) Should I sell on Ebay only and not bother posting with the FS forum since I don't yet have a heatware rating?
3) Any other useful advice?

I'm selling this less from a finance perspective (easily afford new computer) but I really want to see these parts go to good use instead of sitting around unused and then eventually thrown out.

The HD is worth keeping around, the ram/PSU are easily worth something, as well as the videocard, if sold quickly Why not sell it to a friend or relative, for cheap, like 200-250$ ?

Btw, everyone has to try and build up heat sometime, but your not a really well known poster, although you have been around for some time. Might be worth trying ?

Selling the whole system with the case usually do not happen unless it is offered very cheap since the ship might be the same as the value of used case.

1. Offer the components individually and make an addtional special combo price.

2. You can use FS Forum with No Heat however you probably would have to ship before you get paid.

You can minimize the risk by selling it to as well established member.

When you price take into consideration that AMD 3000+ Venice w/ Thermaltake XP-120 HS +
DFI UT4 Lanparty is few generation behind the state of the Art.

MarcVenice, I hope you are joking about selling a 7800gt to a friend or relative for $200-$250, with the 8800gt out, the 7800 might be worth $100 but nothing more, and unless it was a relative you really didn't like selling it at $200 would be quite mean.

Thanks for replies so far. I was going to add ram and go with a AMD X2 but not really worth it IMO. I figure the sale of all of this may if I'm very lucky will just pay for P35 Motherboard + Q6600 only. I'm hoping that the HD3870 comes out better than expected so that Nvidia pricing will stay close to MSRP for the new GT8800 and R92 based GTS8800.
