So last week thurs. my dad picked up a 06 toyota matrix xr 4wd. The car didn't have floor mats even though they were on the factory invoice as an option and the sales guy said that they put them in during prep.
My dad picked up the car late evening and didn't notice that they were missing. He called them back the next day (fri) and they promised to mail them the same day UPS. That same day, I was installing a seat back storage thingie (option that showed up on invoice) that they were supposed to install during prep, but instead only left it in the back seat w/ instructions (instructions meant for the dealer).
This storage system is installed on a track system that comes standard w/ the car using twistie knobs. The knobs were missing and 8 of them were supposed to come standard with the car. The guy promised to deliver them on tues. when my dad works in the area. Didn't happen.
Basically, it sounds like he is giving us the run around since its been a week and we don't have anything, not even a tracking number. My dad threatened to dispute the $500 credit card deposit he left if it's not here saturday. My dad could drive to the dealership but it would be extremely difficult due to where the dealership is located. Any advice? Thanks!!
