Need cheap fans, how about 0.99 each?

They are led fans and have a new technology of bearings called Riffle Bearing, whatever that means. There is a link on the bottom of the product page for more info on Riffle Bearing.

Shipping is about $5 ground to Arizona, not worth it if buying just one fan IMO.

What color are these fans when powered up? It says "white LED" yet the 1 photo shows the fan as "yellow" in color when powered up? I've seen several other web-sites with similar photos/descriptions.

What gives?

Mine's definately white. And they're not too quiet, but I've heard much louder. Hell, get the $5 fan controller from the same site.

Just a note...from my experience with the SVC website, all of their products seem to have "new technologies" and are among "the quietest on the market." That's why I just ignore the product intros and just read the specs

I agree with you, but for a 99 cents if you are always using fans for family or customer computers, this is great price. I was going to buy a few, but I already have a bunch of fans that I am not using. This are cheap fans, I don't know about their quality but I think that the regular price is like $3.50.

These fans are excellent. You get good air flow are are pretty quiet. Not silent, but you shouldn't expect that with 32 CFM from an 80mm fan.
SVC has these in several different colors, but only the orange ones ar currently $0.99.
Red and green are currently $1.29 each, but blue is $2.49.

i have a couple of the blue ones. they are pretty nice, but not silent or anything like that. i wouldnt say they are loud. about the same loud as a ball bearing fan.

SVC is excellent IMO.
The shipping price is not really inflated either...for priority shipping it's kinda right on the spot.

The newegg deal it much better if it is still going. I bought 15x when they had 15x for $15 shipped. They were Speeze/MassCool branded and are very nice quality. They come with a integrated 3Pin and a 4Pin connector and of course, the screws. They are not to loud to me either.

SVC kills their deal with their high shipping charges, to me anyways.

Super saver is the cheapest (for more than one fan) shipping option, isn't it? I'd never pick UPS.

Also it was gonna be cheaper per fan for me to buy 9, than is was for 10. But I'm not buying orange fans.

Not really a hot deal...SVC has this kind of stuff at these prices all the time. They have a lot of shipping options, so play around with that to get the fastest service at the cheapest price. Priority has always been cheaper than UPS Ground for me.
