Need contraceptive removal advice (for a friend)

A member of the forums has recently discussed a problem with me. I am coming to the all-knowing (and hopefully mature) members of the forum to request advice for him. While engaged in adult activities with a friend of his, he apparently pushed the contraceptive sponge too far and she was unable to remove it after the obligatory 6 hour waiting period. He has been called in to retrieve it. Does anyone have any advice for removal?

Note: I will not confirm or deny the identity of this member unless he chooses to reveal himself.

I have dealt with the sponges before, being pushed too far in that is.

What I used to do was get her good and lubricated, then stretch her out a little at a time until I could feel the loop of the sponge with my fingers. Then have her push like she is trying to pee really hard. this will push the sponge closer to the fingers, and thus allow me to manipulate it so I could grab the loop and pull it free.

Tell him to wash his hands really good before trying this, because he can possibly introduce some bad organisms into her body that can cause infections, or other issues.
