save up a few more bucks, maybe $15 and you can get the Razer Barracuda HP-1's, they sound amazing! If you can find them the Phillips HP910's are great too. I own both and honestly for gaming nothing I've tried touches the Razers, they're even good for music. The Phillips excel in both too. I find both to be comfortable. Razer gets a + from me for just being all around kick ass.
Grado's are outstanding at sound reproduction, I've owned the 80's, never used them for gaming, but I can't possible imagine how cans of that quality could be anything but great for gaming, they have bass and crystal clear sound. What else do you need for gaming?
Dunno about CAN $$$, but I got my Razer's for $99 on Amazon, worth every penny!
