Need For Speed: Underground 2 Demo is out!

i liked it. ditto on the controls, but its o much fun. turning off motion blur was good, but i like the overall graphics/control of the first game, but the free roam is nice on this one, as well as the sound.

Ok I figure out why it is doing that to me. When I turn up the level of detail in display options it turns on full scren antialiasing which for some reason fvcks it up so go and turn off antialiasing and see if that helps.

That's the point where you grab the trainer and cheat your way through the rest of the game just to see how it finishes.

Yep, but this isn't my kind of racer anyway. I prefer more realistic games.

It's total crap. I've been a fan of the NFS series since the first one. No word of a lie, I installed this one and _couldn't be bothered to finish a single race_. Its arcade garbage physics and monotony did nothing but make me want to smash my head against the monitor. nfs1 still, of all of them, had the best crashes, and NFS2 was the best overall of the lot. They mostly have gotten worse since then, although the porsche unleashed version was pretty darn awesome.

The camera tilting every stupid time i turn is really annoying me. The game is 99% ridiculous. They RUINED drifting, they expect you to do it on a 2 lane road with oncoming traffic? I predict lots of idiots dying in the mountains after this game comes out. The steering feels really laggy. And the car handles like ass.

Dumb, but I will play it anyways because it is still somehow fun.

finally, NFSU2 now copies midnight Club II. NFSU2 is a remarkable improvement over NFSU1 , you can at least have fun cruising around the city after u've finished the game and not get bored by single races in NFSU1.

Sounds have been revamped, car engines sound way better, the city looks a whole lot nicer, my computer still cannot run this game with max details @ 1024x768 =(

the demo, like others before me have said, is AWESOME!

Ya that car does handle like total ass...
I think its just the 350z though..
every game ive played that had it modeled it that way...
I bet the RX7 will be a tight handleling monster..

Best racer if you like an easy arcarde racer where all you do is gas and steer :disgust:

Try some real racing games like richard burns rally, GTR, or colin mcrae rally 04

Anyone else find the demo to be too hard? Maybe i'm not used to using mouse/keyboard for racing games but I just did aweful in one of the races I tried out. I'm not buying this game because I know I'll end up in last place every time.

I played Gran Turismo and did decent so I don't suck THAT much...

Nope, but I'm not limited to a mouse/keyboard combo (using gamepad).
