I intend to buy a motherboard to support Intel processors and a processor, preferrably core i7. I don't have a very high budget but at the same time I want more bang for my buck. I already have a graphics card (ATI Radeon 7950). So my requirements are as follows:

1. 2 PCI Express 16x Slots for Crossfire
2. Intel processor support, preferrably Core i7
3. Overclocking but not by much
4. I already have a Hyper tx3 cooling system, Corsair Vengeance ram and coolermaster silent pro 600W.
5. Overclocking should be easy at the click/press of a button so that the RAM timings are also automatically adjusted. This was possible in the Asus M4a78TE motherboard I had earlier.

By the way I looked at Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4770 i7 4th Generation Processor, it fits in my budget, which motherboard should I pick to go with this? Is the Z68 series of motherboards any good?

I think you can consider z97 series...

Like Asus z97-a or Msi z97 gaming series....etc.

I remember Msi z97 gaming 7 has a button about oc(oc genie)

It may suit your requirement.

But...most important is, what is your budget??

since you didnt show the budget
I suggest the msi z97 gaming 7 mb

oc genie can save lots of your time for oc setting
all you need is to press it, and done.

Thank you for your inputs guys, the z97 is available in my neighborhood but only MSI's chipsets are available. They fit nicely within my budget. Now I want to zero in on a selection so could you let me know which of these MSI z97 motherboards should be best..

1. MSI Z97 Gaming 3
2. MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Also can these motherboards seat an ATI Radeon 7950? And which processor would you recommend, I would like an i7 but dont want to spend too much.. I zeroed in on Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4770 i7 4th Generation Processor, would this be good enough for high end gaming?
- Basically what I am asking is that will
MSI Z97 Gaming 3 + Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4770 i7
be enough coupled with an ATI Radeon 7950 to tackle high res and heavy graphics games?
Also would I need to upgrade my power supply? As I said I have a 600w silent pro cooler master PSU.

If you want to overclock (like stated in the OP) you need a "K" cpu. like the 4770K, 4790K, or i5 variants like the 4670K or 4690K.

The difference between the gaming 3 and 5 motherboard is what it does with multigpu, the 5 splits up bandwidth evenly, the 3 runs one card in x4 and the other in x16 mode. if you intend to run crossfire in the future the 5 is a better option.

as for how the games will run, always depends on hardware, settings, and may vary per level. Resolution is purely gpu dependant, object quality is mainly cpu dependant.

in most games there's no point getting the i7 instead of the i5, in some there is a gain, not seen huge gaps yet.

powersupply is fine.

No. You want the 4690K not the 70. 90K has much better thermal interface material between the cpu die and the integrated heat spreader. It overclocks better on less voltage and won't run as hot. Should be about the same price.
