need help choosing a mobo

I've been out of the building game for a while, and am way behind on my motherboards.
I'm looking to build an AMD system, I'm gonna start off with a Tbird 1 or 1.2G cpu, and I'm wondering what's a good motherboard to use? I'm not gonna do any overclocking, and I'm looking for something that supports both SD and DDR RAM, a 200/266 FSB and has some upgrading prospects to maybe a 1.5G or higher.
(I'm also looking at the price...this is gonna be just a simple system, nothing fancy...)
I'll take any suggestions.

I think the best choice for ur case is the ECS K7S5A. Support both SDRAM and DDR memory.
Other choice is the Asus A7A266, with the ALi Magik1 chipset, also has support for both memories.

I second the ECS K7S5A solution for you, but with a caveat: either wait a week or two for boards with newer BIOS revisions to ship or read up on the flash procedure very carefully.

The early BIOS revisions were giving people problems, and if you don't read the ECS K7S5A thread on this forum you run the risk of killing your board and having to return it.

One good thing about upgrading now is that unless AMD has surprises in store the Thoroughbred .13 micron chips should still work in most of the newer batch of socket A boards. That leaves nice room for upgrades later.
