Scratch the sh*t out of her car door.

Gorilla tactics, she'll have just as much trouble proving it was you.

Hopefully she comes to your house asking question's. Play stupid, then tell her that she has been scratching up your car door for certain. Then ask her if she's sure she didn't do the same thing elsewhere to obtain the scratch, as you're positive she's not careful in her own car port.

That opens up her doing it back. He's going to have to deal with it until he trades in his car, then gets it fixed.

You've spent $3,000 to keep getting this fixed? Why? If it's a door ding that won't even show up in pictures by your own admission, you'd have to be batshit fucking crazy or extremely rich to justify spending that sort of money on it. And if you are that rich, you should be able to find somewhere to live where you don't have to park by a complete wingnut. If you're just batshit crazy, focus on finding a better outlet for your money than fixing "problems" that are both invisible and overpriced.

And I'm not condoning the lady's behavior, by the way. Someone needs to beat her with a wiffle bat until she understands that common courtesy goes a long way towards keeping society functioning. However, I do think that the repeated payments by the OP to fix a problem that was obviously going to occur again amount to a form of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? That's crazy.

I have decided that when she moves her car again, I am going to take both spaces and leave my phone number for her to call. I am sick and tired of this shit. I'll confront her when she needs to park her car.

Then she will call the tow truck and then you'll be out more money. Just get a knife and cut her valve stems on 2 tires and be done with it.

He's spending/wasting money on the matter already, what's the difference???

It's lame to suggest defiling property I know, but, she doesn't take the matter seriously.

Instill some sort of fear (getting her car vandalized any further) and that's no longer an issue. She's for bully tactics by not answering her door. If she fail's to address the issue, force it, I don't see her doing a thing about this otherwise.

I'd park my car in a place she can't see it the night of my attack. State you were out of town when it occurred. It's beyond easy enough to fool someone in this fashion.

Unless he has been in her face already, she would have no reason to assume it was him.

No need for cops, she's a female, scare the sh*t out of her and she'll want nothing to do with you OR your property.

AMDHUNTER ~ No notes bro!!! She'll turn it in as evidence and make up a story on you. Don't bother.

i could go on. but i wont.

OK, I'll give you yellow car and the F-100, but every other car (even the two I mentioned) would be better off with a real car color. Preference is preference, but how many people honestly prefer a yellow Ferrari to a red, black, silver Ferrari?

At this point you are probably blacklisted as a non-issue complainer. Cops are not going to get involved in door dings. They happen on a daily basis like raindrops falling from the sky.

You have received tons of advice. Some worthy of taking, but you have to do the rest. The police are not your answer.

But, I will bet that the police were rolling their eyes when you were complaining about a door ding. Also, $3000? I haven't priced around, but $750 to fix a door ding sounds pretty steep. Hell, didn't Billy Mays have some rubbing compound for $19.99 that you could rub on and eliminate minor door dings?

She broke the paint more than a few times, and they needed to paint the doors completely. $3000 was over the course of a few years.

Funny, I saw a quick infomercial on TV about a product that would fit this situation... it was a foam-type bar with a magnetic strip that attached to your door, and once it was in place would prevent someone from opening their door into you. A security tether attached it and ran inside the car (through a crack in the window?) - it looked like it might work, and was quick and easy to take off/ put on. Maybe would work for your scenario?

Edit: This isn't what I saw, but it's like it: http://www.doorshox.com/car-door-protectors.htm
