Need help finding a navigational GPS, please!!!

I am looking for a dashboard GPS unit for a gadgety 50+ person for basic navigation. Requirements are:

1) Has to be from a B&M like Bestbuy or Circuit City, because it needs to be bought soon, so Amazon won't work.

2) Has to have out-of-box support for Canada.

3) Low operating costs. Not sure if these things all use subscriptions or not, but something like $10/month obviously isn't going to fly.

We use Garmin hand helds and Garmin Marine (including their new line... its pretty good) and have always been pleased with the road going performance.

Anyway, it's good to see a consensus

Another 350/60/70 vote. The fast rerouting (sometimes you miss a turn, or can't get over to the exit in time, etc.) and anti-aliased lines and text make it great, and easy to use. Similarly priced Streetpilots and Roadmates may be overall as good, but the 350 is quick and easy to use, if lacking a few UI features (I don't know about the other Garmins, but the Magellans are an order of magnitude more difficult to use.

The battery being non-user replaceable is about the only real con (I mean, it's a LIon in a car--it will die early!), but Garmin says it will work with a dead battery just fine, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Going cheaper would seem nice, but you lose important features, such as map or firmware update capability, types of routing preferences, etc.. I really wanted to find cheaper, too, but the value really drops a good bit, unless you expect to replace it within 2-3 years.

Garmin 350/360's are nice, but I have owned a Magellan 3140 for a few weeks now in my town I live in and it is fan-f**ing-tastic. I live out in the sticks basically and it is just phenomenal.. Text to speech, street names spoken, bluetooth, SD expansion...great little unit.
