NEED HELP How to grow taller?!! =)

I'm 19 years old now and got a real big realization of how short i was lastnight. Since all the girls were wearing high heels, they were all the same height as me, and I was also the shortest guy at the dinner party too. So I was wondering if there's any chance of me still growing any taller. If so, are there any exercises or procedures I can take to help me grow taller? I'm about 5'7" now and would like to get at least 5'10". Odd's are probably against me since I'm taller than both my parents...any biologists out there that can help a short guy?

5' 7" isn't so bad. I'm 5" 7.5" and happy with it.

I know guys at my school who are 5' 3" and get tons of chicks... if only i had as slick a tongue

if you are not ripped in half you will have grown several inches

I'm 5'8.5" or so- but I'm still growing I hope. I want to be 6', but I dunno...it might be a bit of a stretch (no pun intended). I hope I make it!

I am starting to play bball again- I had basically taken like 2 years off because I had been too short- but now that i'm tall enough (to be a guard...) I am playing again. Hopefully my body will think, "Holy sh!t, I'd better catch up fast!" and I'll be 6' in no time.

You're right, the odds are against you. You may grow 2 inches, but chances are, your bones have almost completely calcified and will not get any longer, which makes it nearly impossible to get taller.

I recommend forgetting about your height. If you have a good personality, the size doesn't matter.

Actually, if you're the same height as the girls wearing high-heels, I'd say you're pretty normal. I think that the guys who really have problems are the ones who are shorter than all the girls.

Usually by the time you're 19, your bones have fused and there's nothing really that can be done. Eat right is about all I could say.

I wouldn't worry about it though. Hey, at least you outgrew your parents! (I did too... in fact, at 5'11 I am the tallest one in my family!)

I'm 5'8.5" as I said- my mom is 5'0.5", my dad is 5'4", one sister is 5'4", the other is 5'3"- I'm quite lucky!! Oh, yeah, I am the tallest in my family- the only person in my extended family that is taller is my cousin who is like 5'9"!

dang it..maybe i should take up some sort of biological procedure and change my genes or something. Eh, i don't think I have the personality or the charm to get a nice girl. I try to be nice and funny but it doesn't seem to be working. There's gotta be some kind of loophole for me to get around these problems right?

Genetics play the biggest role in anybody's height. There are a few thing you can do when you're a kid (human Growth Hormone is one of them) but if your genes aren't programmed for a height of 6' then nothing's going to get you there. Aside from stilts HA HA HA HA . . . .

Calcium (and therefore milk) is good for the bones. It will help you reach your potential height (the one that's programmed into your genes) but it won't take you beyond that.

So basically you only want the physical attributes of a guy who can just be sitting down watching TV and have chicks flock him. Sorry man, that's not going to happen.....Unless you're very very famous.

I found that hitting the gym and really building up my back, shoulders, and chest didn't so much make me taller, but it did make me stand up taller. I was no longer hunched over. Standing up straight added about an inch.

Another thing is to look into some tennis and dress shoes that have a very thick sole. You can easily add an inch right there with the right shoes.

Don't sweat it. You height is actually a pretty normal one for guys your age.
If you really want to be taller, all you can do is wait and see. There is no miracle grow formula that will make you grow faster. You may still have some growth spurts left in you so just be patient

Sounds like you're trying too hard. Just be yourself and be patient. You'll find the right girl.
If you put on an act that attracts girls, yes you have the girl, but the girls likes the act and not you. That's no way to start a relationship.

As for growth hormones, don't go messing with those. You're fine just the way you are
