need help on connecting Panasonic DVD to RCA tv

There are only 3 holes on the back of my RCA Tv, (I think) they are audio in or out L and R (these two are vertical), and one F type. There are no video in/out on this TV.
The DVD player have complete sets of yellow, white, red, S cable, etc, so I think the problem lies with the TV.
How am I supposed to connect my newly bought DVD player onto the TV?
What cable do I have to buy, etc?
I am bad in electronic stuffs and I do not know what to connect what to what. Please help.

OK, on the DVD player -

Red = right audio channel
White = left audio channel
Yellow = "composite video"

S-video connector looks sort of like a PS/2 mouse connector and carries video only (no sound)

On TV - "F" type is a threaded coaxial connector for 75-ohm RF-modulated signal which contains audio and video.

If this is the case all you can do is try and run the Red/White/Yellow from the DVD to their complementary inputs on a VCR, and then run the F type cable from the VCR to your TV. This may not work too well because many VCRs have problems with the Macrovision copy-protection that is part of every DVD. You'll know if there is a problem because the screen will get light and dark repetitively, or the colors will do that, as well.

The other thing you can try if you don't want to buy a modern TV with the right inputs is to go to Radio Shack and buy an RF modulator, which you would connect in place of the VCR in the previous description.
