hello i have an asus Motherboard M2R32-MVP with a Phenom X4 9600 (HD960ZWCJ4BGD),2.3GHz,95W,rev.B2,SocketAM2+,Quad-Core cpu. my bios is version 1009. my problem is that the option to change the cpu voltage settings in my AMI bios are greyed out and so far i can only OC my cpu to 2.4. how do i find out how much cpu voltage i can handle so that i can use a windows xp based app to change the voltage. so i can over clock my cpu, i know the cpu is old but i cant afford any upgrades right now im poor.heres some info i found on the tech report.com page.On the voltage front, the M2R32-MVP supports processor voltages up to 1.5625V in 0.0125V increments.
im also gonna be using AI booster for xp to up my cpu voltage the processor voltage id (VID) is whats greyed out and i need to change that to be able to better my OC on this quad core cpu
Since this is a mobo issue, I'm moving this from CPUs to Motherboards so that you can get a better answer sooner
