Need Help!!! shuttle ak35gtr not posting!!!

athlon xp1600 cpu
crucial ddr 2100 256mb cas 2.5
ati xpert 2000 pro 32mb apg


Motherboard will not post without shorting the cmos... after reboot of any kind computer wont post and you have to short cmos again... no video and no beeps however all fans power on... i have tried 3 different video cards one being pci with no change in results... taken the motherboard out of case and tried with no change as well... Have changed power supply to 400watt antec with no change in results? I have gone into bios and set agp to 2x with the same results as well? Upgraded the bios with no change... Please help if you have any suggestions...

Check the voltage switch (red little switch) on the back of your power supply and make sure that it is set to 110 and not 220. Granted that may sound moronic, but I had similar problems and after trying everything else it finally dawned on my to check the power supply and VIOLA. If not that then remove things one by one...memmory, hard drives, PCI cards et cetera until you find out what is causeing the problem.
