I want to make an image(clone) of my C:drive(Windows XP Installed) so that I can restore my entire OS later or copy to other PC easily.
I need a nice and easy to use software.
Which one is better Partimage or Clonezilla or Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image ?
Or any other you want to recommend.
Please guide me!
I have no idea how to use these programs.....
Thank you !

Acronis TI is the best, IMHO, but it's not free. I think that Driveimage XML and Clonezilla are both free but have no experience with either.

Also be aware that if you have a copy of XP without a site license, and you install an image of it to a computer with different hardware, you will probably have to re-register it with Microsoft.

Occasionally there are giveaways of "old" versions of Acronis TI. If you look hard enough they turn up left and right.
I don't imagine they're going to stop anytime in the future so might as well keep updating every year or so.

Acronis TI is the best cloner I have found - when used with its bootable CDR. Clonezilla works, but is not what I consider "user friendly." You get what you pay for.

Be aware that if you install a drive cloned from computer A in computer B, chances are you will get a BSOD quickly unless they have identical chipsets/mobos.

I also registered for that, got my acronis password, but never got the install code or the download link. And I did check the spam folder. This now since yesterday 2/4 ... who knows, it may still show up.

I'm totally noob in linux

Didn't need a tutorial, it's pretty straightforward. I don't use Linux.

I like Clonezilla more than Acronis so far.
