management has decided to institute a 15minute turnaround for prescription orders
I'm not sure if this belongs in programming section instead but i'm looking for a formula (sample google spreadsheet/ excel) that projects productivity from quota not based on piece produced but based on time
i.e. quota for fastfood drivethrough is not based on # customers served/hour but rather the 10minute customer turnaround time
knowing customer volume fluctuates wildly, but assuming one customer per minute shows up at the drive through, how to calculate total #customer served (time+10minute) in a 8 hour shift. i assumed mcdonalds actuaries have already optimize staffing level for franchises based on this data. (assuming 2 customer arrive /minute, 3 customer arrive/minute, ...etc i like to see how the numbers extrapolate)
only workplace quota enacted by law i can find is in california, medical lab technicians have a maximum of slides they can review per hour as prior practice led to missed and/or incorrect cancer diagnosis due to the volume and the rush to review all before end of the shift
thanks in advance.
