QUestion:
A 30.0 =-mL sample of .200 M KOH Is titrated with a 0.150 M HClO4 solution. Calculate the pH after teh following volumes of acid have been used:
a) 30.0 mL
I would understand how to do this problem if it was a strongacid-strongbase, but it's not
Can anyone tell me how to do this as a weakacid-strongbase problem?
pKa of HClO4 = -10
Edit: Wow I'm stupid. HClO4 is a strong acid
This all makes sense now - Thanks
