Hey guys I've been doing a lot of research and reading for the past month about overclocking a Q6600 on a Gigabyte P35 DS4 lol. So far i got it set at 3.0GHz @ 9 multiplier and 333 FSB. I want to achieve a minimum of 3.2 or 3.5GHz. I do have aftermarket cooling, I'm using the Thermalright ultra 120 extreme. I have picture of my bios and from cpuz, coretemp and everest. The picture included are the the bios version to voltage of each component. I wont also like to overclock my ram. Don't really know how to do that. I'm new to overclocking and I know that my hardware isn't running at full potential. Plus I really don't know what voltage each hardware need to be set at. Waht settings should I use in the bios. If someone with the same board or cpu or if you can just help me out I would really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Links to the pictures wasn't able to upload using overclock.net attachment:

Its important to know the model, timings, and speed of the ram. Is it crucial ballistix pc2-6400 800mhz 4 4 4 12, or 5 5 5 15?

Should I unlink the ram. My ram timing is set to 5 5 5 18 as the you can see in the pic. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23378932@N07/2235534664/
I never touched my ram yet. the only thing i did was increase the fsb to get 3.0GHz. In that same pic it says my ram in running at 800 SPD whats the 1000 for, right beside the 800. also should i change my ram timing to 4 4 4 12 and change the SPD from auto to 2.0. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23378932@N07/2235535908/ wouldn't that give me a divider of 1.1 ratio cpu.ram and how can i make that ram run at hight speed then 800 thanks again

You should really read the how to guide for overclocking core 2 duos and core 2 quads.

It explains in great detail what settings you should be aiming for.

I'm not very familiar with your bios, but here's how I read it:
Your system memory multiplier is the multiple of your FSB that your memory will run at. Since DDR traditionally runs at twice the FSB then the option of 2 will give you synchronous (1:1) operation.
The reason your memory defaults to slower timings than advertised may be because it needs more voltage to hit its full speed. I think most boards only supply 1.8V by default so you will probably have to bump up your memory voltage to wjat your manufacturer recommends before tightening the timings.

Note: It may be better to not overclock your memory until after you have overclocked your CPU (so leave it either at auto of 2). Once you've got a stable CPU with your desired FSB you can start playing with the memory multiplier to overclock it if you want.
