Need help with ironing shirt

I have the day off and my wife asked I take a shirt to cleaner for it to be pressed. I obliged and went to a couple of cleaners and was told they couldn't have it done by the end of the day. She is at work right now and I would like to try and iron it myself. She needs the shirt done by today so she can wear for important day tomorrow.

I know I should know how to do this but I don't. Im just a blue collar guy that works in the oilfield in Texas.

repeat till wrinkles are gone.

You know, I would probably practice on a different shirt first if you've never ironed before.

make sure that you can use a regular iron on the shirt's material. a wrinkled shirt is still better than one with a big burned out hole in the shape of your iron.

Everytime I try to iron something I still get it wrinkled. I guess women are just predisposed to ironing well.

Me ironing >>> Wife ironing. That may be because I've worn dress shirts to work since I was 19, and she has never had to iron any of her own clothes.

do the sleeves first. then the back. followed by the front.

any other way you'll have wrinkled front. trust me.
