i'm attempting to enable a local area connection from a batch file by using the netsh command and then change the wins settings.
i got the wins set no problem on the enabled card, but i'm having trouble enabling the other card (we're moving networks) to set the wins.
any idea what exact syntax i would use?
to change wins i'm using: netsh interface ip add wins "local area connection" xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx .
to enable the connection: etsh interface set interface name=local area connection connect=connected but i get a 'paramater is incorrect'. anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
thanks,
james.
