Need help with Serious Sam

After you pass a spike pit about 20 bulls come after you...no problem, but then how do you get past the 200 skeleton horses?

I did it by running past them into the large area past the doors that open. Once, in there, run for one of the short walls and try to rocket jump on top of the wall. Then pick them off at your leisure. It's tough to do, but other than that you'll get slaughtered.

Here is how I got past, finally.
I left one bull alive, and ran towards the horses.
Once they started after me, I ran back to the pit and let the bull knock me over it. Then I just watched them all fall into the pit.
But, now I am having trouble in the big area.

Rocket jump onto one of the shorter walls. That's how I passed that area too. Went down, triggered the enemies, then jumped onto the walls and started taking them out. It's really run when those kamikazie guys come when you are on the wall, a lot will gather in one spot below you, and you can bounce a grenade down there, and BOOOOOOOM . Huge explosion and most of them go down!

Same here.
FPS must have been 0.1 when the blast went off.
My PC froze for about 10 seconds.
Now, I am trying to get past the Spinxs...how do you get inside the city walls?

I opened fire with the laser cannon and plowed past them into the courtyard on the other side. Then ran accross backwards pumping grenades into the masses till they all died. Hrm, not sure why I never thought of rocket jumping.

Because it's a major pain in the ass. Even though I used that strategy, you take a lot of damage when you do it. It's not like rocket jumping in quake. You don't get much lift on your jumps, there isn't much control in the air in SS, so you either have to time it perfect, or fire two rockets in a row to do it. I had full shields and energy, and it took me down to like 30 energy. It worked though. I tried running backwards and firing the grenades, but they would end up ganging up on me too quickm, and before I knew it, I was hurting myself with the blasts too.

Got past that, now I am stuck in Thebes.
