Need help with shoes (New idea)

So I have a pair of shoes that have a very weak sole. It has signs of wear just from one day of wear. Can I buy truck bedliner and then spray the soles? Is bed liner tough enough to withstand this?

Well I don't have the bed liner yet so I wanted to see if anyone had first hand experience with how tough it is before I drop money on it.

HO CHI MIN sandals were cut from worn out tires, otoh I'm sure they were nylon or polyester belted, not steel.
Probably easier to find a shoe repair shop.
Or use Shoe-Goo to glue on soles from a thrift store pair of something or clearance sale.

are they leather soles?

Leather needs to breath so you should just let it wear down naturally and have a cobbler resole them later on.

You should treat the leather from time to time though.

Lean, you can typically purchase a spray-on liner patch kit which should be enough to cover the sole. Shouldn't cost too much ...

What? I have like 15 pairs of shoes just outside my room door and they are either rubber or wood + metal + rubber. Unless leather soles look just like rubber I haven't really seen them.

How do you have 15 pairs of shoes and no leather soles? A vast majority of shoes are leather soled. Do you exclusively wear sneakers?

Idk... I wear dress shoes mostly now but even they are not leather. But then I don't spend more than $70 on shoes.

You are doing it wrong. Real shoes have leather soles. Rubber ones are sneakers or very cheap. No wonder you need to truck bedliner your shoes.

Not necessarily. I wear Finn Comfort shoes...they don't have leather soles, they're NOT sneakers, and at about $300/pair, they're NOT cheap...but gawd-damn, they're sure comfortable. (for dressy shoes)

Well that sucks but for the apparant cost of $15 to repair them you can get plenty of shoes which last between 2 days and 6 months.
