Need Help

Hi, first off I should explain that my brothers computer is hooked up to the router with an ethernet cord.....so i guess its the access point? And then mine, my moms and my dads are hooked up using wifi cards(mine and my dads are linksys pci cards and my moms is a laptop[ card). So i started the network setup wizard that comes with windows, I ran it on all of the computers. But when i went to add a network place i could see all of the other computers, but I couldn't access them. Then I realized that there was a wireless network setup wizard, so i tried that, and when i click on view workgroup computers i can still see them but again I can't access them. When I did it with the wireless though I couldn't add my brothers computer to the network because its corded.......!!! So in short I need some help. If you need more info just let me know and I'll give it to you...Thanks guys/gals

PS. The message I get when I try to access the other computers is:
"\\BASEMENT\SharedDocsa is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the adminitrator of this server to find out if you have permission

The network path was not found."

ya ok thats gives me pretty much what i already did.....but it doesn't tell me why it wont let me contact the other computers even when i can see them?
